Lauren & Mitch’s Engagement Session

Lauren and Mitch’s engagement session at Ault Park was the absolute sweetest!

Lauren and Mitch met while attending college at Ohio University. In their down time, Lauren shared that they enjoy watching sporting events, playing games and visiting friends on the weekends. They also enjoy walking their adorable puppy, Louie- the CUTEST Doodle ever (scroll down if you don’t believe me).

There is a beautiful area at Ault Park that reminds me of Europe, specifically Greece. The architecture and greenery have a European feel and I absolutely love shooting here. While capturing Lauren and Mitch’s engagement session, Lauren and I discussed our mutual love of neutral colors and olive branches. We also talked about our favorite restaurants in the Cincinnati area. I do this with all of my couples (foodie alert!).

Mitch is a really tall guy! I loved that he quickly took every pose to heart and started falling into position at each new location- talk about a natural! We all laughed together as Mitch and Lauren shared memories of their time together over the past 7 years. I loved hearing about their intimate proposal in Florida, right after a really nice dinner.

The most easy-going couple and full of smiles, we had the best session and captured the sweetest images. I was so glad Louie was able to make an appearance too! Let’s be honest-he pretty much stole the show. And I just have to mention how much I loved Louie’s neutral-colored rope leash that Lauren special ordered just for their engagement session! Amazon for the win! Shout out to Lauren’s sister, Morgan, who helped walk Louie in between the session- what a great sister!
