Natalie & Joe’s Spring Grove Engagement Session
Natalie and Joe’s Cincinnati engagement session was so much fun! Natalie and Joe enjoy spending time outdoors in their free time and requested more of a nature-feel for their engagement session. I immediately thought about Sacred Grove Cemetery.
This “little” hidden gem is a gorgeous location for portraits and encompasses an enchanted feeling. The 3rd largest cemetery in the country, Sacred Grove is 733 acres and covers miles of gorgeously landscaped grounds. Breathtaking bridges, overgrown trees and large stone monuments make this location an ideal location for anyone wanting photos in a nature-filled setting. At one point during our session, I actually thought about how easy it would be to get lost in this location, fortunately that was never the case and we actually found some stunning locations.
Natalie and Joe, both from Pennsylvania, met in Physical Therapy school. They love watching tv together and enjoy eating at local restaurants and breweries. Being from out of state, they also enjoy visiting friends and family out of town. These two have the sweetest relationship and you can tell they love to laugh and have a lot of fun with each other. We discovered that we all share a mutual sense of humor as we all enjoy watching The Office.
I had to laugh when Natalie asked if I would make sure there weren’t any headstones in their pictures. I reassured her that I had magical editing skills and we would make sure to eliminate any undesired granite slabs in the background.
Overall, the session was sweet and full of laughter, beautiful light and stunning foliage. I am always so impressed with how easy it is finding amazing spots in sometimes, the most unexpected places.
